Join our SAILING VOYAGE FROM MEXICO TO COSTA RICA and beyond... We plan to depart Mexico (Sea of Cortez) mid May. Arrival in Costa Rica is expected around mid June. After clearing in, we will cruise Costa Rica for up to 3 months and then continue to Panama. Joining us is potentially possible during any part of our journey. We are NOT your regular cruise! We are a community vessel for Earth lovers of all ages and walks of life, including children. Aboard, you will find a multicultural team with a passion for performing arts and the environment. We operate various conservation and freedom related projects and we create film content. Having adventures, operating a large sailing ship, and communal life require a high level of energy. We value teamwork, open communication, family vibe, sense of humour and a positive attitude. The food aboard is vegan. What you eat ashore is your own business. Aboard, we do not eat fish or other animals. Everyone is treated as family and everyone is expected to do their fair share of cooking, cleaning, light maintenance, steering, and sail handling. These tasks keep us busy but are not considered 'work'. They are simply an integral part of our lifestyle. All adult participants are required to cover their share of the cost for the food, fuel and other expenses. This cost is 50 Euro per day and person. We do offer work trade opportunities for skilled and motivated participants that we compensate at 10 to 25 Euro per hour (depending on pace and skills). Areas we seek help with are sponsor outreach, event management, social media outreach and content creation, film editing, child care and ship related works beyond the light maintenance. For the second month and beyond, we will honour priorly agreed upon work-trade earnings in place of a portion up to the total of the monthly contribution.
