The Lagos Sailing Club, the Palos Sailing School – CEPSA, the Lagos City Council and the Palos de La Frontera City Council invite sailors to participate in the XXXV Regatta of the Ports of Discoveries, which will take place between July 10 and 12, 2026, between Lagos and Palos de La Frontera (Puerto Deportivo de Mazagón). The Sports Program will have the following schedule: Day 10: 11:00 AM – Start of registration confirmation. Day 10: 5:00 PM – Prologue Regatta. The engines of the ORC Class vessels will be sealed after the arrival of the vessels at the Lagos Marina. Day 10: 8:00 PM – Helmsmen/Skippers Meeting. Day 11: 11:00 AM – Warning signal for the Ports of Discovery Regatta, ORC class – Coastal Regatta - Lagos –> Palos de La Frontera. Day 11: 11:15 AM – Warning signal for the Ports of Discovery Regatta, OPEN class – Coastal Regatta - Lagos –> Palos de La Frontera. (Depending on the number of boats, the Race Committee may combine the two Classes at the Start, moving the OPEN Class to 11:00 AM) 5.2 The Social Program will have the following schedule: Day 10: 9:00 PM – Dinner to introduce the crews, to be held at a location to be indicated later. Day 12: 9:00 PM – Dinner and awards ceremony at the Palos de La Frontera Sailing School building in the Mazagón Marina. Registrations must be made on the form attached to this regatta announcement and delivered to the secretariats of the organizing Clubs by 6:00 PM on July 3, 2026. For registrations delivered after this date, the organization reserves the right to charge a fee of 80 Euros. For better organization, the event organizers advise early registration.
