SV Brizo, a 43ft performance catamaran (Catana 431) is seeking crew to assist with our passage from Fiji to New Zealand 𝟏. SV Brizo, captain Mikael 𝟐. join the boat in Nadi, Fiji the last week of October, where we will look for the best weather window, with the goal to arrive to New Zealand prior to November 25. We expect the passage to take approximately 7 days. 𝟑. Nadi, Fiji to Opua, New Zealand 𝟒. 1 queen sized cabin (available from 10/27-11/25), solo travelers or couple welcome. 𝟓. Crew is expected to help with rotating watch schedule (2-4 hour shifts), prior sailing experience preferred but not required if you are keen and quick to learn. We are happy to teach! 𝟔. Share in cost of food (and if you require internet, Starlink) 𝟕. Flights not paid, must be able to arrange travel to Fiji / out of New Zealand, must have a NZ passport or be able to obtain a NZ visa or NZETA. About us: Mikael, 38 was born in Paris and lived 15 years in the US. He grew up racing sailboats and has been the captain of Brizo since December, sailing over 7700 nm. He is an engineer by trade and an avid kite surfer and surfer. Jenny, 37 was born in Chicago and met Mikael in San Francisco where she lived for 15 years before embarking on our pacific crossing. Jenny is ASA certified, sailing over 7700 nm as Brizo's first mate and loves to read, snorkel, run and hike.
