Unfortunately the sailing direction has changed and now ill need to sail south first to get some parts in the us. I wintered my boat in tofino bc hoping to continue from here but due to import fees of maintenance parts and the need to reset my visa, In may ill be going back down into the straight of Juan de fuca,checking into Washington then a short stop in port townsend before coming back up to Canada. Im hoping to pop around the islands in barkly sound and the broken group on the way down and or back up for some fun, but the straight is a bit of a slog. And while I would love an extra pair of eyes on the leg of the trip is understand its not as exciting of a trip. I'll be slowly cruising up the west coast of vancouver island, the inside passage, haidi gwaii then Alaska. No set schedule tell I see the clouds of departure. My partner and are comfortable and confident with my boat and the local area, we are only looking to add crew who are like-minded, chill, but Adventurists. Previous sailing experience isnt necessary as long as your willing to learn and contribute to the daily tasks This trip is still in the planning phase and departure dates are dependent on weather once spring opens up, But im going somewhere at some point...
