The Voyage • Transatlantic crossing The official transatlantic departure will take place from Saint-Martin, where one cabins will be available for the crossing. From Saint-Martin, we will sail north to join the trade wind route, then head toward the Azores for a planned stopover, followed by Portugal, and finally Marseille. Depending on weather conditions, an intermediate stop in Spain may be made if needed. We are aiming for an arrival between early June and mid-June at the latest, depending on weather conditions. For now, we are almost fully booked. There is only one cabin left for two people. If you are travelling solo, we also accept single bookings. At the moment, we already have two clients confirmed, plus two crew members — the captain (myself) and another crew member. Currently, there are only women on board, but of course we warmly welcome men as well. We have had internet on board for many years, and you can easily find us on all social media platforms under Le Rêve du Large. Who can join? Motivated beginners are welcome. The only requirements are to be in good health and not to suffer from severe or disabling seasickness. For beginners, I will be happy to provide hands-on training throughout the crossing. A west-to-east transatlantic return is particularly fascinating, involving weather routing, sail changes, long-distance sail trim, and real offshore decision-making. Costs & inclusions A fixed fee of €45 per day applies. Everything is included except food. There are no additional costs: fuel, marina fees, and all vessel-related expenses are fully covered.
