Looking for crew across the Atlantic from Halifax Nova Scotia to Bermuda open ocean. Also looking for crew from Bermuda to Cuba and from there to Belize. unpaid gig though will provide food and cabin with Starlink internet and I have a diesel heater with 200 watts solar panels. I also have Raymarine Wheel Pilot system brand new I just installed and diesel heater is also new. I’m currently in Halifax Nova Scotia and planning to leave April sometime between the 15th to the 30th possibly early May depending on weather. I am working on getting my rigging checked and properly tuned as well as I am going to haul out the boat April 1st and redo the anti foul and put new seals in my through hulls to be safe and I am getting spare plugs for all through hulls. My sails are in great condition with proper batons I have a brand new Jennicer and the jib was just repaired before I left Kingston Ontario and sailed to Halifax ( sailmaker said I should get at least another 5 years out of it but I’m going to take it to a sailmaker in Halifax to check it over before leaving in April. I have manual bildge and I have 2 brand new bildge pumps I’m about to install with float switches and check valve to the panel. I have an Oceanus vhf with antenna, Radar Reflector, all brand new fenders, PLB, teather, also have a new Drouge or sea anchor, I have 6 20 litre diesel jugs , emergency tiller and wheel drive. Boat is a 1985 Bavaria 960 32 foot Sailboat with kitchen, stove, fridge, bathroom with 23 gallon septic tank, she holds 115 litres of diesel or possibly more in the tank. Also have a 40 gallon water tank under V birth. I’ll be getting a boom break as well. Furling Jib and lazy jack for main total 3 sails including Jennicer. 4,3 draft winged keel. Boat beacon Ais with Starlink and Vhf installed with antenna as well as handheld vhf. I have navionics and tv with Netflix and west marine dingy with slated wood bottom and 4 hp 2 stroke outboard engine. Boat has a Volvo penta engine 21 horse power with only 400 hours total on it with sail drive. I also have extra engine parts in case fan belts, impellers, oil and gas filters etc. Looking for someone with experience to join me to cross to Bermuda 2 people and also I’ll only stay in Bermuda a week then cross to Cuba or Bahamas and a week there to resupply then to Belize. Leaving Halifax Between April 15th to May 10th depending on weather. All winches and clutches are like new and top quality. I’m also planning to ad a dodger and possibly a Bimini before leaving.
