The Class 40 racing yacht Rock and Roll is taking part in the Antigua–Bermuda offshore race — a 935-mile passage starting on 29 April. Crew meet-up is scheduled for 26–27 April. The yacht is skippered by a highly experienced professional with over 170,000 nautical miles of offshore passages. He has taken part in numerous major races and ocean crossings, including the Pacific, the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race, and multiple transatlantic passages. A commercially endorsed skipper, he brings a high level of competence, safety, and real offshore racing expertise to the campaign. This is a proper offshore racing experience on a high-performance yacht with full racing sails. Accommodation is basic: berths, dry racing dehydrated food and light version of comfort — this is about sailing, not luxury. The race finishes in Bermuda, with an optional continuation onwards to Halifax, Canada for those who want to extend the adventure.
